As International Delegate in the 11th INTERPOL DFEG Meeting and the 1st International Investigators' Summit and Competition held at the NFSU Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, from 13–15 July 2026 The event was organized by the INTERPOL Innovation Centre in collaboration with NFSU bringing together leading digital forensic experts, investigators law enforcement officials researchers, academicians international delegates from 47 countries to discuss the latest developments in digital forensics cybercrime investigations, digital evidence, artificial intelligence international cooperation
The inaugural session of the conference was officiated by Shri Amit Shah, Hon'ble Union Home Minister of India, in the presence of Shri Bhupendra Patel, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, and Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon'ble Minister of State (Home) Gujarat highlighting India's growing commitment to strengthening digital forensic science cybercrime investigation global law enforcement collaboration
As part of the event NFSU announced the establishment of three new Centres of Excellence, aimed at advancing forensic research, professional training, and investigative capabilities in emerging domains:
Centre of Excellence in Financial Crime Investigation
Centre of Excellence in Media Forensics
Centre of Excellence in Crime Scene Management
The conference also showcased Asia's first fully equipped Mobile Forensic Laboratory, developed by NFSU with advanced digital forensic technologies and capabilities to support modern forensic investigations In addition an international exhibition featuring organizations and companies specializing in digital forensics, cybersecurity technologies, forensic tools, and investigative solutions was organized, providing delegates with insights into the latest innovations and technologies supporting digital investigations.
