This is to formally define and record the scope, conditions, and commercial terms governing the engagement for specialized cyber forensic and digital evidence services. The assignment encompasses forensically sound evidence collection, expert consultation and examination by Audio/Video Forensic Analysts, Cyber Forensic Analysts, and a Senior Cyber Forensic Expert, along with advanced technical analysis, reconstruction of digital crime scenes, correlation of artefacts, and expert interpretation of electronic evidence.
All activities shall be conducted in strict adherence to recognized forensic standards, chain-of-custody protocols, and evidentiary principles to ensure integrity, authenticity, and admissibility of digital evidence, including compliance with applicable legal frameworks such as Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (including Section 63 & 63(4)(c) – Expert Opinion), relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable statutory and procedural mandates.
The total professional fee for the above-mentioned services is ₹28500/- (Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Only) to 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only). This amount is exclusive of logistical and operational expenditures, including but not limited to hotel accommodation, travel, food, on-site deployment, and associated incidental expenses, 18% GST .
Non-Refundability Clause:
The aforesaid professional fee is strictly non-refundable, non-cancellable, and irrevocable under any circumstances whatsoever, including but not limited to client withdrawal, delay, non-cooperation, change of instructions, or external contingencies. Upon confirmation of engagement, resources are allocated, expert time is reserved, and operational arrangements are initiated; hence, the fee shall be deemed earned and appropriated irrespective of the outcome of the investigation or utilization extent of services.
This engagement constitutes a binding professional arrangement, and all services rendered shall be treated as expert forensic services with legal sanctity, intended for investigative, advisory, and judicial purposes.
